Throne Room in Buckingham Palace, the London home of the King and
Queen of Englands, which was deliberately bombed by Nazi airmen
recently. In the backgroung the thrones of the King and Queen are set
on a raised platform and underneath a heavy silken canopy. This is one
of the most luxurious rooms in the Palace and it is used on all great
occasions of State. It was undamaged by the German bombs.
