| Escrito al dorso: "Town Planners in School. THEY PLAN THE BRITAIN OF TOMORROW.
When the war is over a great task of reconstruction will lie ahead. Planning in the most intelligent sense and on the most comprehensive scale will be necessary to make Britain worthy of the man and women who defended her now battered cities, towns and villages. At the Liverpool School of Architecture, the country´s oldest and best-know architectural college, a generation of ambitious and able students are being trained. There are now about 100 of them, (10% are women) who take the Civic Design course which deals specially with town planning; together with connected courses it takes five years and leads to a Degree or a Diploma of Architecture.
O.P.S. TOWN PLANNERS IN SCHOOL: A general view in one of the spacious ground floor studios. Students working on the preliminary stages of a planning exercise." | |
